This Privacy Policy provides users with information on the nature, scope and purpose of the collection and use of their data by the responsible provider.

Collection of general information

We, or the webspace provider, automatically collect information every time this website is accessed. This information, also called server log files, is general in nature and cannot be traced back to you.

This information includes: website name, file, date, data volume, web browser and web browser version, operating system, your internet provider’s domain name, the referrer URL (the page from which you accessed our website) and the IP address.

Without this information, it would not be technically possible to deliver and display some of the website content. In this respect, it is absolutely essential that we collect the data. We also use this anonymised information for statistical purposes. This helps us optimise the website and technology. We also reserve the right to subsequently review the log files where there is reason to suspect that our website is being used unlawfully.

Integration of third party services and content

Our website occasionally contains content and services from other providers. These include maps provided by Google Maps, YouTube videos, and graphics and images from other websites. The IP address must be transmitted so that these data can be retrieved and displayed in the user’s browser. Therefore, the providers (hereinafter referred to as “third party providers”) use the IP address of the respective user.

Although we try to only use third party providers that only require the IP address to deliver content, we have no influence over whether IP addresses are stored. In this case, the process is used for statistical purposes, amongst other things. If we know that the IP address is going to be stored, we inform our users of this.

This website uses cookies. These are text files stored by the server on your computer. They contain information about the browser, IP address, operating system and internet connection. We do not pass on these data to third parties or link them with personal data without your consent.

Cookies have two main purposes. They help us make it easier for you to navigate our website and enable the website to be displayed correctly. They are not used to spread viruses or open applications.

Users may also browse our website without accepting cookies. To do so, the relevant browser settings must be changed. Please use your browser’s Help function to find out how to disable cookies. However, please note that doing so may adversely affect some features of this website and restrict ease of use. You can manage online advertising cookies via the sites http://www.aboutads.info/choices/ (USA) and http://www.youronlinechoices.com/uk/your-ad-choices/ (Europe).

Changes to our Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to make changes at any time in order to ensure that our Privacy Policy always complies with current legal requirements. This also applies in the event that the Privacy Policy must be amended due to new or revised activities, such as new services. The new Privacy Policy then applies the next time you visit our website. —
